Company Description Kalyani Steels Ltd Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant General Manager/Deputy General Manager (AGM/DGM) Project Hot Bar & Wire Rod Rolling Mill at Kalyani Steel Ltd., located in Odisha. The AGM/DGM will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the rolling mill, ensuring the production process is efficient, managing a team of staff, maintaining quality control, and adhering to safety protocols. The role includes coordinating with various departments, optimizing production schedules, supplier management, and addressing any operational issues that arise. Qualifications Expertise in Rolling Mill operations, specifically Hot Bar & Wire Rod mills Strong leadership and team management capabilities Experience in quality control and adherence to safety standards Proficiency in production scheduling and process optimization Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to coordinate with multiple departments Knowledge of supplier management and inventory control Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field Prior experience in the steel manufacturing industry is a plus
