Role Overview: The Assistant Store Manager / Cashier is responsible for ensuring smooth daily store operations, managing billing and payment processes, supporting customer service excellence, and assisting the Store Manager in driving sales and team performance. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the billing counter efficiently using POS software (Ginesys or similar). • Handle all payment methods (cash, card, UPI, vouchers, credit notes) accurately. • Issue invoices, refunds, and credit notes as per company policy. • Maintain daily sales reports, cash register balance, and reconcile cash at day-end. Customer Service • Greet and assist walk-in clients during checkout and after-sales processes. • Handle queries and resolve billing-related complaints in a professional manner. • Ensure a smooth and delightful checkout experience for customers.
