You are a resourceful and energetic Project Specialist responsible for managing and assisting with production processes, supply chain management, equipment vendor relations, procurement, and finance management. You excel as a strategic problem solver, leading cross-functional teams to manage changes, create and maintain BOMs, and track deliverables from engineering development builds to production release. Additionally, you handle engineering change orders, manufacturer change orders, and deviations. Your role involves building matrices to track project milestones, creating purchase requisitions, managing invoice tracking, and generating goods receipts across multiple projects simultaneously. Your responsibilities include proficiency in SAP for BOM management, purchase requisition, and PDM, along with tracking project financial expenses and coordinating budgets for product manufacturing and upgrading processes. You bring project management experience in NPI or Transfer projects, collaborating with site CFT and supporting the design and development of assembly lines based on lean manufacturing principles. Your broad knowledge encompasses product design, manufacture, and assembly techniques, as well as the implementation of product quality standards. You are adept at setting up assembly lines for NPI/transitions, arranging production equipment, jigs, fixtures, materials, and parts based on product specifications, and developing SOS, line balancing, and time studies. Your role involves estimating resource requirements, workload assignments, production times, and schedules for manufacturing processes. Collaborating with design and operations teams, you develop manufacturing plans for new products to achieve cost and quality objectives. Identifying, developing, and deploying automation possibilities in assembly processes and conducting Kaizen events to improve productivity are also part of your skill set. To qualify for this role, you should hold a degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering from a recognized and reputed college, with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in an NPI environment, project management, and process development. Additionally, you will work on building an extensive matrix to track deliverables and project milestones. Your keen eye for identifying waste in processes and finding ways to eliminate it will be crucial. You should also be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. Your responsibilities will include managing SAP for BOM management, Routing updation, ECN Management, Purchase requisition, and PDM. You will support the design and development of assembly lines incorporating necessary fixtures based on lean manufacturing processes. Developing Standardized Operating Sheets, Line balancing, and Time Study will also be part of your role. You should possess a broad knowledge of product design, manufacture, and assembly techniques. Setting up assembly lines for NPI/Transitions, designing shop floor workstations, and arranging production equipment based on product specifications will be among your tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing shop floor layouts in ACAD, optimizing flow and floor space utilization, and tracking project financial expenses. To qualify for this position, you should hold a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from a recognized and reputed college with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, NPI Process development, and project management. Proficiency in structured BOM experience in SAP is a must, and Autocad certification is an added advantage. Experience working with overseas suppliers and automation projects will also be beneficial.
