Role Description This is a full-time role for an Accountant located on-site in Mohali, India. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial transactions including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and assisting in monthly closings. They will also prepare financial statements, perform audits and compliance checks, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role also involves analyzing financial data to identify trends and variances, and communicating with clients and other stakeholders as needed. Qualifications Proficiency in bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Strong skills in preparing financial statements and conducting audits Ability to perform compliance checks and ensure accurate financial reporting Analytical skills to identify financial trends and variances Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office Suite Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Candidates must have prior experience in the real estate sector
