Job Title: Sales Officer – Insurance & Mutual Funds Location: Chandigarh Job Type: Full-time Department: Sales Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Officer to join our financial services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients and driving sales of insurance products and mutual funds. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, financial product knowledge, and a proactive approach to sales and customer relationship management. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Client Acquisition: o Identify and prospect potential clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research. o Conduct meetings and presentations to understand customer financial goals and promote appropriate investment solutions. • Sales & Business Development: o Sell life insurance, general insurance, and mutual fund products in line with client needs and compliance guidelines. o Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and business development goals. o Cross-sell financial products to existing and new clients. • Customer Relationship Management: o Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through consistent follow-ups and service. o Provide after-sales support and ensure high customer satisfaction. • Product Knowledge & Compliance: o Stay updated on product offerings, industry trends, and regulatory changes. o Ensure all sales activities adhere to compliance and ethical standards. ________________________________________ Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field. • Fresher or experienced personnel. • Certifications such as IRDA (for insurance) and AMFI (for mutual funds) are mandatory or must be obtained shortly after joining. • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Target-driven with a passion for sales and customer service. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ________________________________________ Compensation: • Fixed Salary + Performance-Based Incentives • [Optional: Other benefits such as health insurance, travel allowance, etc.]
