Role Overview We’re looking for a MedusaJS Developer with strong backend and e-commerce expertise to join our remote team. You will be responsible for building, customizing, and scaling e-commerce applications using MedusaJS , while ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability. Responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain MedusaJS-based applications. Integrate third-party services and APIs (payment gateways, shipping, CMS, etc.). Optimize application performance and scalability. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production. Requirements ✅ Strong proficiency in Node.js & TypeScript . ✅ Hands-on experience with MedusaJS (plugins, custom workflows, API integrations). ✅ Familiarity with headless commerce architecture. ✅ Knowledge of REST and GraphQL APIs. ✅ Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). ✅ Git/GitHub for version control. ✅ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup. Nice-to-Haves Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue.js). Knowledge of cloud deployment (AWS, Vercel, Netlify, Docker). Previous work on open-source projects.
