As a Node.js Backend Developer Intern at Ninjafarm Services Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in building the engine behind Poultrywala, which is India's most efficient B2B poultry trading platform. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain backend APIs using Node.js and Express.js. You will work closely with the frontend team to integrate REST APIs with front-end technologies such as React and mobile apps. Additionally, you will be handling data using MongoDB or MySQL, implementing authentication, authorization, and role-based access, and collaborating with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams. Your tasks will also include writing clean, scalable, and testable code, debugging and resolving backend issues efficiently, and optimizing APIs for performance and scalability. To excel in this role, you should have a basic knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, and Express.js, along with an understanding of RESTful APIs and backend logic. Familiarity with MongoDB or relational databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL and version control workflows using Git is essential. A good grasp of server-side architecture, the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team, and strong communication skills are also required. It would be beneficial if you have experience with JWT/Auth systems, an understanding of MVC architecture, basic DevOps knowledge (Postman, hosting, deployment), and prior experience working on real-world projects or personal projects on GitHub.
