As a part of Corporate Development, you will lead our initiatives in India, reporting to the Head of Corporate Development for Asia Pacific and Japan based in Singapore. This multifaceted role requires a deep understanding of the global tech industry landscape, the tech startup ecosystem in India, and Cisco's global and India growth strategies. Your responsibilities will include contributing to Cisco India's inorganic growth strategy through activities like Venture Investments, M&A, IBAs, or JVs. Your tasks will involve inorganic strategy planning, deal sourcing and execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams throughout the process. Specific activities will include: - Understanding the tech, startup, and investment landscape in India - Collaborating with Cisco global teams to advance Cisco's strategy in India through deals - Working closely with Cisco India leadership to create and execute an inorganic growth strategy - Leading deals end-to-end, from sourcing to negotiations and closing - Representing Cisco on portfolio company boards and facilitating partnerships. Candidates should demonstrate thought leadership, influencing capabilities, and possess strengths such as operational, strategy consulting, or deal experience within the technology market. Additionally, a strong understanding of market disruptions, emerging technology trends, excellent communication, analytical skills, and proven leadership capabilities are essential to succeed in this role. The Corporate Development team in the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region focuses on strategic investments, acquisitions, and IBAs/JVs to drive innovation and fuel Cisco's growth in India and across APJ. Collaboration with key stakeholders within Cisco and a focus on growth verticals and enterprise technology priority areas are key aspects of the team's responsibilities. The ideal candidate should hold an MBA from a Tier 1 business school with an undergraduate engineering degree, showcasing a strong interest in the technology industry. Experience in the VC, Corporate VC, or I-Banking industry, coupled with strategy/business experience and a deal execution track record in the tech sector, is preferred. Role & responsibilities 6+ years of hands-on experience with OpenLink Endur/Findur, including AVS, OpenComponents, JVS, and the OpenLink API. - Proficiency in OpenLink core modules such as Deal Capture, Risk Management, Settlement, and Accounting. - Strong understanding of precious metals - Experience with technical customization, scripting, and performance optimization within OpenLink. - Expertise in integrating OpenLink with other systems using Java, .NET, or REST/SOAP APIs. - Strong knowledge of databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and proficiency in SQL. - Ability to lead and mentor technical teams, manage timelines, and coordinate across global teams. - Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Skill and Qualifications • Should have a strong understanding of the energy/commodity trading business - Oil, Gas, Power, Commodities. • Minimum 3 years' experience of Openlink Endur, including v14 upwards is essential • Experience in linear and non-linear instruments in a Commodity Trading environment • Self-starter with a proven delivery track record in analysis, design and configuration • Strong experience of physical and financial gas, power, emissions and coal trading, valuation and PnL. • Exposure to and understanding of the full trade lifecycle allied with strong knowledge of the system business processes • Understanding of several commodity/asset classes and implementation across multiple Openlink clients • Working knowledge of more technical aspects of Endur such as Open JVS, Open Components, Report Builder, TPM is advantageous. • Understanding of software implementation and testing principles • Ability to adapt to changing working environments and practices • Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail • Ability to self-motivate, work without supervision and prioritise workload under pressure
