Job responsibilities Configuring and monitoring firewalls, switches, and routers. Good Experience with Juniper devices. Deep knowledge of Spanning Tree, VLans, VTP Good knowledge on various tunnelling technologies e.g., VPN, GRE Upgrade, install and troubleshoot networks, networking hardware devices and software. Good experience in setting up and managing LAN and WAN environment. Knowledge of routing protocols like RIP, OSPF, VRRP, EIGRP and BGP. Maintain inventory of equipment and parts as well as documentation of vendor activities. Develop and document system standards for network devices. Willingness to work night shifts and provide backup support. Skills Candidate must be CCNA or JNCIS-SEC certified. Excellent understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, including MPLS, VLAN and Ethernet LAN Switching. Experience in WAN/LAN networks, TCP/IP and OSI model, addressing. Experience in network services such as DNS, DHCP, IIS, FTP etc. Experience in Windows Servers, Linux routing. Experience with firewalls, routers, and VPN. Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of IT, present complex ideas concisely and clearly articulate technical ideas both verbally and in writing is necessary. Accountabilities / Job Description Responsibilities: Provide NOC Services in a serviced office environment with mostly multinational clients Pro-actively monitor performance and capacity of Network and Infrastructure systems for our clients Perform regular checks, Backup and maintenance on Network, Infrastructure hardware andsoftware Responding to Network, Infrastructure and security alerts and hardware malfunction Coordinate with ISP & vendor raise tickets Tracking and documenting Network issues and compiling incident reports. Manage L1 & L2 Tickets locally and L3 & L4 with HQ IT using service now Ticketing systems. Coordinate with HQ IT teams on Network, Application and Infrastructure tasks and projects.
