Job Description

We are currently looking for a Junior WordPress Developer with 1-2 years of experience to join our Calicut team, working closely with our Dubai-based development team.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites from scratch without relying on page builders.
Customize and extend themes and plugins based on project requirements.
Integrate APIs, dynamic features, and functionalities as per client needs.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and backend developers to deliver seamless, responsive, and user-friendly websites.
Ensure websites are optimized for performance, security, and SEO best practices.
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and bug fixing across multiple browsers and devices.
Stay updated on new WordPress developments, tools, and coding standards.

Requirements:

1-2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress website development from scratch.
Strong understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Experience in custom theme and plugin development (not theme-based or builder-based projects).
Knowledge of WooCommerce integration and website optimization techniques.
Familiarity with cPanel, DNS management, and hosting environments.
Basic understanding of Git or version control tools.
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to meet deadlines.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
