Junior Tester (MERN)

You are a skilled Tester with 2 years of experience, responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of MERN stack applications hosted on AWS. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver robust, scalable, and high-quality web applications. Your key responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for MERN stack applications. You will perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing across front-end and back-end components. Validating data integrity and performance of MongoDB databases, testing RESTful APIs, and identifying bugs, bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities through automated and manual testing are also part of your role. You will collaborate with DevOps to test and validate application deployments on AWS, monitor application performance, scalability, and reliability, and document test results and defects. Participation in Agile ceremonies to ensure quality at every development stage is crucial, along with staying updated on the latest testing tools and methodologies. Your required skills include 2 years of experience in software testing, proficiency in testing React and Node.js applications, familiarity with MongoDB, hands-on experience with testing tools, knowledge of AWS services, and understanding of CI/CD pipelines. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are essential. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required, and ISTQB Foundation Level certification is preferred. Nice-to-have skills include experience with JMeter or LoadRunner for performance testing, knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for microservices testing, and exposure to Microsoft GraphQL testing.
