Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited for the engagement of a Junior Research Fellow at Punjab Agricultural University, Department of Soil Science, Ludhiana. The selected candidate will be appointed on a contractual basis for a period of six months in the scheme "Studies on the performance of some nutrient additives on productivity of different cropping system and on soil health Misc-95 (PC-5409)" with a monthly remuneration of Rs.37000/- plus HRA. Educational Qualifications: - B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Agriculture) with a minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks. - M.Sc. in Soil Science/Chemistry with a minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks. - Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline but without a Masters degree are also eligible. - Candidates with an M.Sc. degree must have qualified NET. Desirable Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience of working in field conditions and analyzing plant and soil samples in the laboratory. No separate intimation will be sent regarding the interview. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
