Junior Research Associate

Designation - Junior Research Associate – Organic Chemistry
Location - Kadadra, Dehgam, Gujarat

Experience Required: 6 months to 2 years
Salary - 20 k to 30 k ( Depend on interview )

Qualification: M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry
Timing - 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Weekly off - Monday

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform *organic synthesis* of intermediates and target compounds as per project requirements
• Conduct compounding activities and assist in the *monitoring of chemical reactions* using TLC, HPLC, GC, etc.
• Carry out *reaction work-up, **purification* (e.g., crystallization, distillation, column chromatography), and *isolation* of products
• Support in *analytical testing* and data recording using instruments like IR, NMR, HPLC, GC, and LC-MS
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all experiments in *laboratory notebooks or ELNs*
• Follow all *SOPs, safety guidelines, and GLP/GMP practices* strictly
• Assist in *troubleshooting experiments* and optimizing reaction conditions under supervision
• Coordinate with team members for material requirements and lab inventory management
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments

Candidate Requirements:

• M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from a recognized institution
• 6 months to 2 years of laboratory experience in an R&D or academic setting
• Strong understanding of *organic synthesis and purification techniques*
• Basic knowledge of *analytical techniques* such as TLC, HPLC, IR, and NMR
• Ability to interpret data and maintain clear, concise documentation
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and a willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
