Junior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in structural re projects.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Skilled in using AutoCAD & MS Office tools. Analyzing plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs.
• Ability to work well within a team, providing support and guidance when necessary.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and project requirements.
• Ability to suggest improvements in processes for increased efficiency and cost savings.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.

Possession of professional Quantity Surveying certifications would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs.
• Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service
• Creating labor estimates for any project
• Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors
• Managing bids from vendors and contractors
• Using bid data to prepare detailed a cost analysis
• Ability to prepare invoices, variations and cost reports
