Junior Python/Django Developer II

As a Junior Python/Django Developer with 6 months of professional experience, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining core services and APIs that power the analytics platform. Your role will involve collaborating with data scientists, frontend engineers, and DevOps to bring new features from concept to production. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement RESTful APIs using FastAPI and Django REST Framework for API development. - Build and optimize microservices in Python and Django for core architecture. - Implement WebSocket-based functionality with Django Channels for real-time features. - Develop and manage background jobs using Celery, CeleryBeat, Redis, and Cron Jobs for asynchronous tasks. - Utilize Pandas and NumPy for ETL pipelines and analytical workflows in data processing. - Model, index, and query data in MongoDB for high-throughput scenarios in database management. - Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests for code quality. - Partner with cross-functional teams, monitor production systems, and troubleshoot issues in real-time for collaboration and monitoring. Requirements: - Minimum 6 months of professional backend development experience. - Good proficiency in Python, Django, and FastAPI languages & frameworks. - Good understanding of REST API principles and JSON for API & data formats. - Knowledge of WebSockets, Django Channels, Celery, CeleryBeat, Redis, and Cron Jobs for real-time & asynchronous tasks. - Comfortable working with Pandas and NumPy data libraries. - Production experience with MongoDB including schema design and aggregation pipelines for databases. - Proficient with Git and collaborative workflows for version control. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication in English for problem-solving and communication.
