Junior Production Engineer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise unloading, sorting line operations, and grinding machines.
• Maintain daily production logs and machine tracking sheets
• Ensure proper segregation of plastic waste (PP, HDPE, ABS, etc.).
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance.
• Enforce safety, 5S, and compliance standards.
• Support improvements for higher yield and reduced rejections.
• Conduct checks on ground flakes particle size, contamination, and moisture content.
• Prepare and maintain daily quality inspection records and shift reports.
• Support process improvements for minimizing rejections and enhancing quality.
• Coordinate with the production team to resolve deviations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education:

  Diploma / PGD-PMD / DPT / DPMT (Plastics / Polymer / Mechanical) ( plus done from CIPET)

• Experience:

  02 years in waste management/recycling preferred (freshers welcome).

• Skills

• Knowledge of grinding machines and sorting processes.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Strong data recording and reporting ability.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
