Junior Piping Layout Designers/ Drafters

As a skilled and detail-oriented Piping Layout Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting the team with various piping projects. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 2 to 4 years of experience in piping designing and drafting in sectors such as oil & gas onshore/offshore, chemical plants, power plants, or renewable energy production. You should have a strong understanding of industry standards like ASME, ASTM, API, and ISO, and proficiency in software tools such as SP3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Pipe Data Pro, and MS Office. Your key responsibilities will include: - Creating and developing conceptual layout designs for piping systems based on project specifications. - Reviewing and interpreting technical documents like P&IDs, equipment datasheets, and process documents. - Performing detailed engineering of piping layouts using specialized software tools. - Coordinating with other engineering disciplines to integrate the piping layout with the overall project design. - Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control practices. - Providing support and inputs for cost estimation of piping-related materials and man-hours. - Participating in design reviews, safety studies, and constructability reviews. - Creating and maintaining design documentation and piping layout drawings for project records. - Identifying and resolving engineering issues related to piping layout design and installation.
