Brief Description about the Project

a) To improve the anthropometric nutritional status of children 0.6-3y in a district of Himachal Pradesh through testing of an appropriate THR that meets all guidelines and nutrient requirements.

b) large scale implementation in 2 districts.

c) Capacity building for appropriate technologies within the ICDS system.

Junior Nutritionist

No. of Vacancy: One

Preferred Qualifications: M.Sc Nutrition

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Public Health Nutrition or in field-based research.

Language: English, Hindi

Salary: Rs. 50,000/-per month

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare training materials for field staff.
• Train field staff across all study phases (anthropometry, dietary recall, and quantitative surveys)
• Assist in product formulation, ingredient selection, recipe preparation and optimization of take-home rations.
• Conduct data cleaning, perform quality checks, and support analysis at all study stages.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor field activities in collaboration with partner organizations and institutions.
• Prepare study reports and documentation as required.
• Fulfill additional project requirements and be willing to travel between Bangalore and Himachal Pradesh.
