Junior NLP Engineer (Speech/Audio)

You will be a part of the AI team at RunDMS working on building speech and audio intelligence for Votch, the flagship voice intelligence product. Your responsibilities will include: - Integrating and evaluating STT/TTS systems - Building noise detection/classification and speech enhancement pipelines - Prototyping with audio-native LLMs and multimodal flows - Owning audio preprocessing, feature extraction, and evaluation metrics - Writing clean, testable Python code and reproducible notebooks To excel in this role, you should possess: - Strong Python skills with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow - Hands-on experience in speech/audio ML projects through internships, coursework, or personal projects - Familiarity with librosa, torchaudio, ffmpeg, and basic DSP concepts - Interest in LLMs and speech-driven agents Nice-to-have qualifications include exposure to real-time or conversational AI technologies like WebRTC, streaming, VAD, as well as knowledge of Cloud/MLOps basics using AWS, GCP, or Azure, Docker.
