The MIS cum Cashier is responsible for maintaining accurate financial transactions and preparing regular management information system (MIS) reports. This position plays a key role in ensuring effective cash handling, financial record-keeping, and timely reporting to support management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities'. MIS (Management Information System) Responsibilities

  • Collect, compile, and analyze operational and financial data from various departments.
  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management review.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases and records in Excel, ERP, or accounting systems.
  • Generate reports on sales, revenue, expenses, and other performance metrics as required.
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure timely and accurate data submission.
  • Support audit and compliance requirements by providing relevant MIS data and documentation.

B. Cashier Responsibilities

  • Handle daily cash, cheque, and online transactions accurately.
  • Prepare daily cash collections and deposit them into the bank as per company policy.
  • Maintain a cashbook and reconcile daily cash balances.
  • Issue receipts and invoices for all transactions.
  • Manage petty cash and record day-to-day office expenses.
  • Ensure timely submission of all cash reports and reconciliation statements to the Accounts department.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Tally ERP, or similar accounting software.
  • Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and cash handling.
  • Analytical skills for data management and report preparation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in financial dealings.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Applications, or a related field.
  • Diploma or certification in MIS, Accounting, or Data Management preferred.

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in MIS reporting, accounting, or cashiering.
  • Experience with ERP systems or accounting software is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
