Junior Linux Admin

You are a motivated Junior Linux Admin with 6 months to 2 years of experience seeking to join our IT team. Your role involves managing and configuring Linux servers, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting various network and software tasks to ensure smooth operations. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues related to Linux servers and workstations efficiently. Additionally, you will handle the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Linux operating systems across various environments. Managing user accounts and permissions to ensure secure and efficient access to Linux systems is also part of your duties. Furthermore, you will install, configure, and maintain a variety of software applications on Linux servers. Providing technical support to end-users for Linux-based systems, including addressing hardware, software, and network issues, will be required. Implementing and configuring security measures such as antivirus software and firewalls to protect Linux systems is essential. Your responsibilities will also include managing the installation of system updates, patches, and the reinstallation of Linux applications to maintain system integrity and security. You should have 6 months to 2 years of experience in Linux administration, proficiency in Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat), basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash, Python), understanding of networking concepts and services, familiarity with system monitoring tools, strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, teamwork abilities, and time management skills. This position is based in Indore, MP, and requires on-site work at various locations in India and globally, including the USA, UK, Australia, and the Middle East.
