Junior Lawyer

Role Overview: As a Junior Lawyer at DHCO India, a law firm in Nagpur specializing in Tax & Commercial Litigation, your role will involve handling Tax and commercial litigation matters. You will have the opportunity to represent clients before tax authorities, appellate forums, High Court, lower courts, and MSME Facilitation Council. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, preparing opinions on various laws, liaising with relevant authorities, and maintaining records of litigation matters. Key Responsibilities: - Represent clients before tax authorities and appellate forums. - Represent clients before the High Court & lower courts in commercial & Tax Law matters. - Handle scrutiny assessment and appeals related to direct and indirect taxes. - Conduct legal research and prepare opinions on various laws. - Liaise with the tax department and other relevant authorities on behalf of clients. - Handle arbitration proceedings before the MSME Facilitation Council. - Maintain and update records of litigation matters. Qualification Required: - Experience in tax and commercial litigation and related matters. - Sound knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Prior Taxation work experience is necessary for this job. - Vision to work for the long term with the firm and willingness to take on this challenging role.
