Junior Interior Designer

Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative and motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior designers to create functional, aesthetic, and innovative interior designs. You will be responsible for assisting with all phases of the design process, from concept development to project execution, while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development of interior design concepts and mood boards.
Collaborate with senior designers to prepare design presentations and client proposals.Produce detailed drawings, floor plans, elevations, and 3D visualizations using CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).Assist in selecting materials, furniture, lighting, color schemes, and other design elements.Conduct site visits to gather measurements, assess project requirements, and ensure design intent is adhered to.Support the project management team with timelines, budgets, and vendor coordination.Source and coordinate the procurement of materials, furniture, and finishes.Stay updated on the latest interior design trends, materials, and technologies.Ensure compliance with building codes and design regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in interior design (internships or freelance work can be considered).Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office Suite.Strong understanding of design principles, spatial planning, and color theory.Ability to work independently and in a team, with good attention to detail.Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).A portfolio showcasing design work (academic or professional).

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
Familiarity with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainable design practices.Experience with 3D rendering software (e.g., 3ds Max, V-Ray, Revit).Passion for creativity, design, and a keen eye for aesthetics.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Internship

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
