Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Junior Hindi Editor to join our publication house. The candidate will assist in editing and proofreading Hindi manuscripts and other content to ensure high editorial standards and smooth publishing.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread Hindi manuscripts, books for grammar, style, and accuracy.
• Ensure content aligns with the house style and maintains clarity for readers.
• Work closely with authors and the senior editor.
• Support the publishing process by checking layouts, typesetting, and final proofs.
• Conduct basic fact-checking and language polishing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hindi, Journalism, Literature, or a related field.
• Excellent command of Hindi grammar and vocabulary.
• Strong attention to detail and editorial sense.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of books, publishing, and Hindi literature.
