Junior Facade Designer

Job Title : Junior Facade Design Engineer Company : Vani Facade Location : Kochi Job Type : Full-Time Experience Level : 1-2 years Job Summary Vani Facade is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Facade Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience in facade design, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD. You will be working on a range of projects, assisting in the design and development of facade systems for commercial and residential buildings. Key Responsibilities : Assist in the design and detailing of facade systems using AutoCAD. Collaborate with senior architects to develop facade concepts and solutions. Prepare 2D drawings, technical details, and shop drawings for facade elements. Coordinate with other team members, including structural and MEP engineers, to ensure design integration. Conduct material research and support the selection of appropriate facade materials. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for projects. Support the senior team in solving technical challenges during the design and construction phases. Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and company guidelines. Cost estimation for facade systems. Qualifications : 1 to 2 years of experience in facade design or a similar role. Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or other design software is a plus. Understanding of facade materials and construction methods. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise technical drawings. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Problem-solving skills and willingness to learn and grow in the field of facade engineering. Preferred Skills : Familiarity with structural behavior and thermal performance of facade systems. Basic knowledge of 3D modeling software like Rhino, SketchUp, or similar tools.
