Junior Engineer - Technical Services, Monitoring

You will be hired to provide operational support for the Infrastructure Monitoring team in Ocwen. Your role will involve 24x7 monitoring of the environment, resolution of events/alarms generated from monitoring tools, first-level support, and maintenance in the infrastructure. You must collaborate with cross-functional IT groups to enhance monitoring applications and document operational processes. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor the environment 24x7 and resolve events/alarms from monitoring tools. - Provide first-level support and escalate issues to Senior Engineers when necessary. - Collaborate with cross-functional IT groups to improve processes and systems. - Develop and enhance the use of monitoring applications, including data center infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and reporting. - Evaluate monitoring application performance and security regularly. - Document operational processes and testing methods. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent. - Knowledge of Python is an added advantage. - Good communicator with the ability to deal with people effectively. - Strong monitoring and network diagnostic skills. - Basic understanding of infrastructure devices and their functions (Server, Network, Storage). - Ability to work well in a busy team, quick to learn, and handle a wide range of issues. - Strong analytical skills to interpret data from various sources. - Ability to assess and prioritize faults and respond or escalate accordingly.,
