Junior Engineer - Production planning

Great opportunity for a fresher B.Tech - Mechanical engineer to join our team. As a B.Tech / B.E in mechanical engineering, you will be responsible for various tasks to support the production manager and contribute to the smooth functioning of the production line. Your responsibilities will include assisting the Production Manager in developing daily production plans, diagnosing problems in the production line, and providing recommendations and training. Additionally, you will be involved in establishing safety procedures and protocols, keeping up to date with advancements in engineering and production, and sharing knowledge with co-workers. You will also be responsible for identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices, drawing up production schedules and budgets for projects, scheduling meetings with relevant departments, analyzing all facets of production, and making recommendations for improvement. Furthermore, you will be required to obtain any materials and equipment required, contribute to continuous improvement activities, and ensure quality control of work through appropriate reviews. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of CAD software (2D and 3D), proficiency in MS Office, and a strong attention to detail. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule and the work location is in person.
