Junior Engineer / Assistant Engineer Effluent & Sewage Treatment Plant (Paint Shop)

As a Junior Engineer / Assistant Engineer in the Effluent & Sewage Treatment Plant (Paint Shop) at Focal Point, Ludhiana, Punjab, you will play a crucial role in the Production Paint Shop department. This position is open to both freshers and experienced individuals who hold a Diploma in Paint Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a B.Sc in Chemistry. Your primary responsibilities will involve operating and monitoring the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), overseeing various treatment stages, and ensuring compliance with environmental and legal discharge standards. You will be responsible for supervising the maintenance of essential equipment such as pumps, blowers, filters, clarifiers, and aeration systems. In addition to these tasks, you will be required to maintain a record of daily operational data, manage chemical inventory, and coordinate with internal teams and external authorities during audits and inspections. Training and guiding operators on ETP/STP processes and safety protocols will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you must be able to identify plant issues, recommend corrective actions, and suggest process improvements whenever necessary. The duty timings for this position are from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM with an additional 3.5 hours of overtime on a rotational basis.
