About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Inspect, test, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on substation equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, relays, and control systems. 2. Diagnose and repair electrical faults to ensure continuous and safe operation of substations. 3. Maintain detailed logs and records of inspections, tests, repairs, and equipment performance. 4. Adhere strictly to electrical safety protocols and regulatory standards while working on high-voltage systems. 5. Coordinate with engineers, utility operators, and other technicians during routine maintenance and emergency repair work. 6. Conduct grounding checks, oil sampling, insulation resistance tests, and thermal imaging as part of scheduled maintenance. 7. Assist in substation upgrades, equipment installations, and system modifications as required.
