Junior Editor

As a Junior Editor at our company, you will play a crucial role in the editorial process. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing, editing, and proofreading manuscripts to ensure linguistic accuracy, structural coherence, and adherence to style guidelines. - Collaborating with authors, senior editors, and production teams to maintain the quality, consistency, and integrity of published content. - Having a good command of English with strong editing and proofreading skills. You can be trained if needed. - Possessing a Bachelor's degree in Science (Masters preferred). - Demonstrating familiarity with academic publishing or content management workflows as an advantage. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. - Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines. Additionally, preferred skills for this role include: - Knowledge of plagiarism and reference management. - Ability to adapt tone and style to different genres such as academic, technical, or creative. - Collaborative and proactive work attitude in a team environment.
