Junior Duty Doctors

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend to patients in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency departments as per hospital protocols.
• Assist consultants during ophthalmic examinations, minor procedures, and surgeries when required.
• Monitor patients’ pre- and post-operative conditions and provide appropriate care under supervision.
• Document patient history, examination findings, treatment, and follow-up details accurately in medical records.
• Respond to medical emergencies promptly and coordinate with the concerned specialist for advanced management.
• Ensure timely completion of all medical documentation and discharge summaries.
• Support infection control and quality assurance initiatives within the hospital.
• Coordinate with nursing and paramedical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and service delivery.
• Participate in clinical meetings, training sessions, and CME programs organized by the hospital.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Essential: MBBS from a recognized university with valid registration (MCI/NMC or State Medical Council).
• Desirable: MS/MD (Ophthalmology) or D.O. (Diploma in Ophthalmology) preferred
• Experience: 0–3 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setup (fresh graduates may apply).
• Additional Skills:
• Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and on-call duties as required.
