Junior Biomedical Engineer

As a Bio-Medical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machines and equipment in various medical settings such as floors, operating theaters, and ICUs. Your primary duties will include taking regular floor rounds to inspect machine conditions, performing repairs during breakdowns, and conducting preventive maintenance as per the schedule. Additionally, you will be required to follow up with AMC companies for repairs under AMC agreements, implement immediate repairs for minor breakdowns, and escalate major breakdowns by filling out breakdown forms and transporting the machines to the repair area. Timely return of machines after repairs is essential to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency. In this role, you will also be responsible for checking the pressure of medical gases like oxygen and nitrous oxide regularly, coordinating with other units related to biomedical engineering as necessary, refilling oxygen cylinders in critical areas, and managing the air compressor and vacuum compressor on a daily basis. Documenting all repairs and breakdowns accurately is crucial for maintaining records and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Diploma or B.E. in Biomedical Engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
