Junior BIM Detailer- Precast

You will be responsible for developing 3D models of precast elements using Revit, Tekla, or similar platforms. Additionally, you will review the consultant's model and prepare detailed shop drawings, assembly drawings, and connection details. It will be essential to maintain accurate documentation for project tracking, issuance of drawings for the production factory, and GFC drawings for site installation. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders such as architects, precast consultants, MEP consultants, project teams, and contractors to develop detailed models and review them according to project specifications. You will review and analyze BIM models to identify and resolve potential clashes and discrepancies. Extracting BOQs and material lists from BIM models will be crucial to support estimation, billing, and planning teams. Furthermore, you will assist in project scheduling, sequencing for precast installation, crane planning, production planning, and logistic planning. Managing the BIM detailing process for precast projects to ensure accuracy and efficiency will be a key part of your responsibilities. Coordinating with external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to incorporate design changes, challenges, updates, and solutions will also be necessary. Staying current on industry trends and best practices in BIM detailing for precast construction and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations are important aspects of this role.
