Job Title: Junior BIM Coordinator Location: Gurgaon Department: Technical Job Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior BIM Coordinator to support our projects with US clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development, coordination, and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across various project phases. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both local and US-based teams are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the creation, management, and coordination of BIM models using industry-standard software, such as Autodesk Revit and Navisworks. Communicate effectively with project teams and US clients, ensuring clear understanding of project requirements, timelines, and deliverables. Coordinate the integration of multidisciplinary models, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of design and construction data. Participate in clash detection, model coordination meetings, and resolution processes to avoid project delays. Assist in developing and maintaining BIM execution plans in alignment with client specifications and project objectives. Provide technical support and guidance to team members on BIM standards and workflows. Ensure compliance with BIM standards, protocols, and project-specific requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to update both internal teams and US clients on BIM progress, issues, and milestones. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architecture, engineering, construction) to align project objectives and resolve technical challenges. Support the team in maintaining and organizing the BIM file management system, ensuring that all project data is up to date-and accurate. Assist in conducting BIM-related training and workshops for internal teams to enhance knowledge sharing. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Basic proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with US clients and internal teams across multiple time zones. Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues in the BIM model. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment while managing individual responsibilities. Familiarity with BIM standards, protocols, and workflows (such as ISO 19650 or other relevant standards). Basic understanding of the construction process and project lifecycle. Comfortable working with diverse teams and understanding the unique needs of US-based clients. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Preferred Experience: 0-1 years of experience in BIM or a related field, preferably with exposure to US clients or international projects. Knowledge of additional BIM tools or platforms (e.g., BIM 360, Dynamo, or similar). Experience in or familiarity with the US construction industry, including its standards and regulations.
