Junior Architect

As a Junior Architect at our firm located in Nagercoil, you will play a crucial role in supporting our design and construction teams across a variety of architectural projects. Your passion for architecture, attention to detail, and eagerness to enhance your skills in a collaborative setting will be instrumental in driving our projects to success. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of architectural designs, presentations, and construction documents. You will actively contribute to project teams during conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation phases. Additionally, you will conduct site visits, facilitate project coordination with consultants, contractors, and clients, and utilize design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Suite to create models, drawings, and presentations. Your participation in design meetings and creative idea generation will be valued, along with your research on materials, codes, and zoning regulations to ensure project compliance and sustainability goals. To excel in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution and possess at least 3 years of professional experience within an architectural firm (internship experience is also considered). Proficiency in architectural software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential. Strong design and visualization skills, coupled with excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities, are key attributes we are looking for. An understanding of architectural detailing, construction documentation, and knowledge of building codes and regulations will be beneficial. Possession of LEED or other sustainability credentials, while optional, would be an advantage in this role.,
