Junior Architect

Role Overview: At APICES Studio, as a Junior Architect Level I & II, you will be responsible for contributing to the accuracy and quality of drawings, design, and documentation. Your role will involve timely completion of assigned tasks, active participation in design reviews and team discussions, demonstrating improvement in technical and design skills, effective collaboration with team members, and maintaining a proactive and ownership approach towards your work. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the full architectural design process, from plan concept design to completion, ensuring quality and compliance. Produce and review detailed drawings. - Under the guidance of Senior Architects, prepare detailed working drawings, plans, and technical details adhering to project standards and respective DCR. Assist in producing construction documents and preparing site reports. Format and print drawing sheets. - Collaborate and coordinate with internal architectural team and external consultants (MEP, Structural, etc.) to align on design intent and project goals. Coordinate for timely completion of planned activities. - Conduct periodic site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications. - Coordinate for events, lectures, seminars, vendor presentations, etc. - Stay updated on architectural trends, building codes, and software advancements. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Architecture. - 0-5 years of experience in architectural design or internship experience. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, D5 Render, Enscape, Lumion, and other design visualization tools, M.S. Word suit, Adobe Suite. - Basic knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices. - Strong drafting and design skills. - Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
