Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the design and development of architectural projects, with a strong focus on apartment and high-rise developments. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all phases of architectural design, from concept development to construction documentation. Key Responsibilities: Design Development: Create initial sketches and concept designs based on project requirements. Develop detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details. Refine design concepts through iterations and feedback from senior architects. Prepare 3D models and visualizations to effectively communicate design intent. Technical Documentation: Produce construction documents, including specifications, schedules, and project submittals. Ensure drawings comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and regulations. Assist in material selection and detailing for architectural finishes. Project Support: Conduct site visits to gather data, understand existing conditions, and support project execution. Assist in feasibility studies, including cost estimations and budget analysis. Prepare presentations to effectively communicate design proposals to clients. Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with senior architects, engineers, and project team members. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities during the construction phase. Engage with clients to understand their needs, incorporate feedback, and address concerns. Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and other relevant design software . Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction practices . Experience working on apartments, high-rise residential, and commercial projects is preferred. Communication & Creativity: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey design concepts effectively. Ability to present technical information clearly to clients and team members. Strong visual and spatial awareness with a keen eye for design aesthetics. Attention to Detail & Problem-Solving: High level of accuracy in producing drawings, documentation, and specifications . Ability to identify and resolve design inconsistencies or construction challenges. Adaptability to evolving project requirements and tight deadlines. Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Internship or prior experience in an architectural firm is preferred.
