Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities for multiple clients, maintain accurate books of accounts, assist with GST and TDS compliance, and support financial reporting and other accounting operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities for multiple clients, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Maintain books of accounts, including journal entries, general ledgers, cash books, bank books, and expense records.
• Record and verify sales invoices, purchase invoices, receipts, payments, expenses, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Prepare and issue sales invoices, track client-related expenses, and ensure appropriate billing and recovery from respective clients.
• Perform bank, customer, vendor, and ledger reconciliations and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable records, monitor payment due dates, and follow up with clients for overdue invoices.
• Assist in preparing and filing GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, and support related reconciliations.
• Assist with TDS calculations, challan payments, return filings, and other applicable compliance requirements.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit and Loss statements and balance sheets, and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Track expenses cost-centre-wise and prepare cost-centre-wise financial reports for management review.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain bank statements, invoices, expense details, and other documents required for accounting and compliance.
• Work with accounting software such as Tally and Zoho Books, and use MS Excel for reconciliations, calculations, and financial reporting.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate, up to date, and completed within prescribed deadlines.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
• Understanding of GST and TDS concepts and compliance procedures.
• Familiarity with Tally and Zoho Books.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting reconciliations.
• Understanding of invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple clients and manage deadlines.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.Com or BBA graduate.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Freshers with sound basic accounting knowledge and a willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
