Job Description

Job Summary:

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Entries & Record Keeping

Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally/ERP system.
Maintain books of accounts including cash book, bank book, and ledgers.
Prepare and post journal entries.

Banking & Payments

Handle bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
Prepare cheques, NEFT, RTGS transactions, and maintain bank-related documentation.
Assist in tracking payables and receivables.

Invoicing & Billing

Generate sales and purchase invoices.
Verify vendor bills and ensure timely processing of payments.
Follow up with clients for pending payments.

Taxation & Compliance

Support in preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS workings, and other statutory payments.
Maintain records for statutory audits and assist in providing documentation to auditors.

Payroll & Expense Management

Assist in preparation of monthly payroll inputs and employee reimbursement processing.
Maintain petty cash and expense records with proper supporting documents.

Reporting

Prepare basic financial statements and MIS reports for management review.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Coordination

Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and auditors for accounting and documentation purposes.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in
Tally ERP / Excel / Accounting software
.
Knowledge of
GST, TDS, and basic taxation concepts
.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.

Education & Experience:

Qualification:
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
