Junior Accountant-Dalhousie (Urgent Hiring)

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles and working knowledge of GST compliance. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain daily accounting records and entries in Tally or similar software * Assist in preparing invoices, bills, and bank reconciliations * Support in filing GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) under supervision * Manage accounts payable/receivable * Assist with monthly and year-end closings * Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as needed Requirements: * Basic knowledge of GST rules and filing procedures * Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/SAP) * Good analytical and organizational skills * Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines Preferred: * Internship or practical experience in a similar accounting role * Knowledge of TDS and basic income tax compliance Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month Benefits: Paid sick time Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
