Junior 3D Artist

In officeKey Responsibilities

• Asset Creation: Model, texture, and rig 3D characters, props, and environments based on script requirements.
• Scene Assembly: Build and light 3D scenes that match the channel's established visual style.
• Animation: Create expressive character animations and dynamic motion graphics for transitions or data visualization.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Lead Editor and Creative Director to ensure 3D elements integrate seamlessly with live-action or 2D footage.
• Optimization: Render efficiently using engines like Blender (Cycles/Eevee) or Unreal Engine to meet tight deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Blender (preferred), Cinema 4D, or Maya.
• Rendering Knowledge: Experience with lighting and rendering (knowing how to make things look "expensive" on a budget).
• Adaptability: Ability to switch between styles (e.g., stylized/low-poly vs. semi-realistic) depending on the video topic.
• Speed: A "get it done" mindset. You understand that "done" is often better than "perfect" in the world of daily/weekly content.
• Portfolio: A reel or portfolio showcasing 3D modeling and animation (personal projects or school work are fine!).
