As a Hardware Engineer in the System Production Engineering group at NVIDIA, you will be entrusted with the complete ownership of networking systems production engineering tasks. Your role will involve a comprehensive understanding of hardware, firmware/software, mechanical integration, and manufacturing processes. You will oversee production engineering activities at multiple contract manufacturing lines and collaborate closely with various teams within the networking organization, including Hardware/Software/Firmware R&D, Architecture, Test Engineering, Quality & Reliability, and Operations groups. Direct communication with both internal and external groups at NVIDIA will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Leading Cross-Organizational Task Forces: Manage and lead cross-functional teams to address quality events and failure modes in NVIDIA's networking products by coordinating efforts across hardware, software, and manufacturing departments. - Root Cause Analysis and Test Planning: Conduct detailed root cause analysis to identify failure modes and ensure effective monitoring and control of test yield across all stations. - Onsite Engineering Support: Act as the technical owner for test issues, test infrastructures, and test setup, providing prompt and professional responses to all concerns. - Location: The role will be based at the factory at Jabil Pune in India. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - B.S.C in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. - 4+ years of technical experience in hardware design/system failure analysis/debugging/Architecture or Product Engineer roles. - Familiarity with the manufacturing processes of electronic products. - Proficiency in lab equipment handling, lab setups, and troubleshooting skills. - A strong team player driven by motivation, staying abreast of new technologies and failure analysis methodologies. - Proficient in English communication. Additionally, to distinguish yourself, the following experiences and skills would be advantageous: - Previous experience as a test engineer or product engineer. - Background in board design/system. - Knowledge of ICT/JTAG technology and functional tests. - Proficiency in Linux operating systems and programming languages like Perl/Python.,
