The role at NiCE involves evaluating current and emerging technologies, collaborating with DevOps and other business units to establish and ensure the implementation of best practices. As a Cloud Network Engineer, you will work with various cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and inContact's private cloud environments. Your responsibilities will include researching and evaluating Cloud technologies, establishing design strategies and automation, reviewing designs and implementation plans, serving as a technical lead on projects, and communicating technical information to various stakeholders. You will also collaborate with colleagues, customers, vendors, and other parties to develop architectural solutions, understand existing systems and processes, and participate in the evaluation and selection of solutions or products. To excel in this role, you should have at least 8 years of work experience in an internetworking environment, experience with Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, and GCP, expertise in Infrastructure as code and scripting with JSON/YMAL for CloudFormation. Additionally, you should have expert-level experience with Palo Alto and F5 load balancers, network switching and routing, and extensive knowledge of networking technologies, topologies, and protocols.
