Jr. Scientist/Graduate Trainee, THANE Department : Technical Job Location: Thane, Mumbai We are looking out for a Technical Assistant for our organization who will assist our physical testing. Job Description: 1. Day-to-day testing as per the assigned instructions/ standard test methods. 2. Completion of testing assignment within the allocated time. 3. To check & keep records of the laboratory environmental conditions every day. 4. To keep records of power failure in the laboratory. 5. To take specific precautions as mentioned with the QOP and other relevant instructions. 6. Housekeeping, orderly arrangement of records and related documents, formats, test procedures, etc. 7. To keep all testing results, calculations etc in the Lab Book / Worksheet for the internal records. 8. To prepare summery sheets on the basis of their findings on testing parameters. 9. To take all safety measures while handling harmful chemicals, auxiliaries, etc. 10. To ensure a tidy and orderly look of the laboratory as a whole. 11. To help Operational Manager in intermediate checks and other related activities. 12. Promptly report any non-conformity / deviation witnessed in the laboratory activities / Testing process to the superiors Experience and skills: - For Technical Manager -B.Tech / B.E in Textiles or Graduate in Science or Diploma in engineering / technology. Experience in the relevant area especially in the analysis of testing of relevant products For Technical Assistant- B.Sc. with physics as one of the subjects or Diploma in engineering / technology or equivalent
