Jr. Quality Analyst (Manual Testing)

Role Overview: As a QA Engineer, your role will involve analyzing user stories, use cases, and requirements for validity and feasibility. You will be responsible for creating test cases from user stories or test scenarios. Collaboration with other team members and departments is essential, along with executing various levels of testing including System, Integration, Sanity, and Regression testing. Your communication skills will be crucial in effectively conveying project experiences to team members and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, you will focus on building efficient solutions for Web, Services/APIs, and Database testing requirements, and work on creating and improving testing processes to enhance software quality and reduce cycle time. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze user stories, use cases, and requirements for validity and feasibility - Create test cases from user stories or test scenarios - Collaborate closely with other team members and departments - Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, Sanity, and Regression) - Communicate project experiences to team members & stakeholders effectively - Focus on building efficient solutions for Web, Services/APIs, and Database testing requirements - Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives to address trouble areas in IT systems and projects - Create and improve testing processes to reduce cycle time and enhance software quality Qualifications Required: - Knowledge of QA processes and policies - Practical knowledge of Waterfall & Iterative Software Development Methodology - Ability to write a test approach/strategy - Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and concepts - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with others - Comfortable supporting fast-paced development teams - Defect reporting & analysis skills - Understanding of SQL Queries, Views, and Stored Procedures - Familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA - Knowledge of Web/Desktop Based Testing Applications,
