About The Role As an experienced Jr. QA Engineer at Zysk Tech, you will have a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. You will be involved in diverse and exciting projects, mainly utilizing open-source frameworks like Nest.js, Python Django, PHP Laravel, React.js, and Vue.js. What you will do - Review and analyze system specifications, collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective test strategies and plans. - Execute manual test cases, analyze results to identify, log, and track bugs and errors. - Evaluate product code according to specifications and ensure adherence to quality standards. - Work closely with developers to provide feedback and recommendations for improvements. - Create and maintain clear, concise, and well-structured test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Conduct various types of testing, including functional, integration, system, regression, and usability testing, utilizing testing methodologies such as black-box, grey-box, and white-box testing. - Utilize testing tools such as Jira, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, and BrowserStack for test case management, defect tracking, and test execution. - Perform API testing, cross-browser testing, and cross-platform testing on web and mobile applications. - Monitor and report on test execution progress and defect status, providing regular updates to project stakeholders. - Stay up to date with new testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices. What you will need - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 1-3 years of proven experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong focus on manual testing of web and mobile applications. - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Hands-on experience with test case management tools and defect tracking systems, such as Jira and TestRail. - Solid experience in API testing, cross-browser testing, and cross-platform testing. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes and experience working in an Agile environment. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate, and document defects. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Passion for quality and a commitment to continuous improvement.
