Job Description for Purchase Engineer We are looking for Purchase Engineer to ensure on time material availability for manufacturing processes at our company. Positions: 2 Qualification and Experience: Experience: 0-2 years (Manufacturing, Project based company, SPM Machines) Qualification : DME/BE Mech Computer Skill: MS Office, Tally Prime Salary: as per experience Role: Jr. Purchase Engineer Industry Type: Engineering & Manufacturing Department: Purchase Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Engineering/Manufacturing Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for all procurement activities. Developing & implementing the Procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets Vendor and Supplier development and evaluation. Review and update records / documents to comply with the internal audit requirement Ability to hard negotiate to align with the optimal cost and timelines Sourcing from right place with right quality and price/ Timely sourcing of material to align with the commitments / requirements. Ensure timely inward/outward receipt of materials, Knowledge of processes involved in SPM/ Project based machine manufacturing. Ready to travel for follow up with vendors. Updating all records of purchased products. Maintain reports on purchases made and performing cost analyses. Able to do good negotiation with vendor New Vendor Development and assessments Must have the skill of cost reduction and cost comparison sheets. Good experience of procurement in sheet metal, ready profile, geared motors, machining parts etc Required Skills and Experience: Procurement experience in Project based industry will be added advantage Tally knowledge will be a value addition since we work in Tally software. Good communication skills.
