Jr. Press Tool Designer

As a Press Tool Designer in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, with 3-6 years of experience and an annual salary range of 300,000 - 600,000 INR, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Performing sheet metal Component feasibility study - Involved in Design and detailing for Press tool - Designing of die layout for stage and progressive tool - Creating of Drawings 2D & 3D and Bill of Materials - Creation of Final Drawings for die element and Assembly Detail - Engineering standards followed by selection of Raw Material for the required products - Creation of Bill of Materials for Raw material, Individual Components and Assembly - Designing of press tools like as Blanking, Piercing, Restricting, Forming, Bending and Progressive press Tools - Thorough knowledge in GD & T - Leading all activities of tool design & development from conceptual through detail phases, post design support to development & Proving - Designing Tool for critical press parts (High tolerance) - Designing progressive die & multi-stage tool Additionally, you should be an expert in 3D modeling, with knowledge of Cimatron software being an added advantage.
