Jr. Linux Server Administrator

As a Jr. Linux Server Administrator, your role involves managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux-based servers. You should have a strong understanding of web servers, databases, security configurations, and server maintenance. Server migration experience would be beneficial for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers such as CentOS and Ubuntu - Manage and optimize Apache and/or Nginx web servers - Perform SSL certificate installation and configuration - Monitor server performance and efficiently troubleshoot issues - Handle DNS configuration and management - Configure and manage MySQL/MariaDB database servers - Perform regular server updates, security patches, and backups - Assist with server migration tasks when required - Ensure server security, uptime, and reliability Required Skills & Qualifications: - Strong knowledge of Linux servers, particularly CentOS and Ubuntu - Good understanding of Apache and Nginx web servers - Familiarity with basic Linux commands - Experience with SSL configuration - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Working knowledge of DNS - Experience with MySQL/MariaDB database configuration - Preferably, knowledge of server migration - Ability to work independently and as part of a team The company prefers female candidates for this position.
