Jr. Integration Engineer(NBFC Payment gateway)

As a Backend Developer at our company located in Ahmedabad, GJ, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining simple backend code primarily in Java and PHP to facilitate data exchange and integration workflows. Your role will involve designing and building basic, functional demonstrations showcasing the integration process for internal stakeholders, particularly overseas colleagues. You will also serve as a point of contact for vendor technical support teams, effectively communicating technical issues and seeking resolutions. Additionally, you will conduct fundamental testing of integrations to identify and resolve basic bugs and ensure stable functionality. It will be crucial for you to document integration processes and configurations clearly and concisely, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and development, to understand integration requirements. In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining accesses, IT assists, data security, servers, and rights. Therefore, basic to intermediate level proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java and PHP (experience gained through academic projects, personal projects, or internships will be considered) is required. You should have an understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and fundamental backend logic. Demonstrated ability to work independently on assigned tasks and manage time effectively with minimal supervision is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with remote team members, are also important qualities for this position. Furthermore, you should possess strong analytical and debugging skills. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience) is required for this role.
